Distortion Drive - Atliss Distortion Drive - Atliss

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

The armony breaking during the intro is so unsettling and yet it fits the song perfectly, like it breaks a happy mood with a few sour notes. I love the climb and the "resolution" of the tune.

Overall very good work ! Keep them coming.

Thanks! :))

This is professional work right here. The mix is superb for an mp3 and I love the drum work... keyboards are on point and oh my god that vocoder work.
Can I ask you for some pointers on that ? What´s your DAW - setup and voice plugins ? (if it´s a chef secret I will understand of course).

Again , brilliant stuff.

I don´t think it´s a compressor - it´s the format. Balanced my Rig a bit to the low ends and got the kick... Final EQ is always something hard when you have to consider that mp3 is really limited to just a few real setups.
That being said, it sounds awesome and easy to hear , vibrating.
No easy feat ! So good job !

Thanks^^ Glad it's good listening:3

You deserve a better microphone since you can hear it peak (though it might be your settings), that voice is wonderful and the arrangement lively and groovy. If you want I can help you to EQ the voices to make them clearer and bring them to the front of the mix.
Still a very good and acomplished job !!! Keep it up and never use "this sucks I know" as a short description for a project of yours again :)

The microphone is a guitar hero mic that came from the setup that we barely use so I swiped it. I noticed that it doesn't capture the base in my voice almost at all. So in audacity I've been trying to force the base to come back. My Mic is set on lowest setting for recording with a pop blocker in front of it to help filter some more sound, though, I am very loud when singing.
My mom could hear me recording this whole entire thing three floors below my bedroom. XD
So I think I need to back off on my loud level, though I might lose the 'Passion'. (My friends say I sometimes attain it when I get loud. //le shrugs//)

Thankyou! And alright XD I'll try and stop myself from using 'this sucks I know'. Just haven't been very confidant with my singing lately after getting harsh feedback from the vocal department at my school ^u^;
(I'm a visual artist, so I do my best to not sing around them, but when they hear I normally get very very bad looks. The one girl got 'Vocal' /ahahI'msopunny/ with me and said I have a very annoying voice and that I need to stop doing my note jumping because I sound like a yodeler or something along those lines. I might be yodeling, I don't know. I grew up admiring the singing style XD)

Now, I'm going to demonstrate how much of a noob I am. What's an EQ? o3o Equalizer?
Been working with same setup since about 2010, with some modifications. I was planning on moving over to the seinheiser mic. but ... I can't sing long notes without it wanting to filter it out. //annoying. I have a recording that it did to me on, on almost EVERY single note//
Currently trying to save up money for a bunch of things. First on the list is new computer. Second is new wacom. Third, erm... I think it was the microphone, and one that has a stand and pop blocker already attached to it? I hate singing and sitting XD Forth, I'm pretty sure is getting FL subscription so I can give my computer a break from being on all of the time and sixth is getting a better recording program (I think it was called guitar studio, I don't know XD) but it would allow me to do better editing with in it.

But again, thankyou owo These positive comments really do help me

Loving the sound of the vocals - crispy clean with the layers very easily audible and discernable !
Didn´t like much the base during the first part , before the crescendo - after that it really kicks in to be a party starter !
On the vocals Alone I´m giving you these 4 stars.
Also man, cut the audio properly ! There is 1:30 minutes of silence in your track !

Still a good work !

Beauty !

It is a good piece, friend. My favourite part was by far the intro, it even made me start to head bang a bit =D.
The composition rocked, and the recording was very clean. Those drums must have been a real pain to write (or did you record them in a real kit?) =/, but the end result was more than worth it!
Keep it up !
